a weekend in being lazy

1. I had my first legit spa experience this weekend, and i must say now i know why its so pricey and so indulgent.
2. Food: Loungeburger - a bit overrated, menu is super appetizing but the actual food doesn't live up nice environment tho. Spoon Me - Omg i think i need to set up a weekly budget to visit this place, me and mel inhaled our matcha and acai fozen yogurt not to mention the interior of the store, the branding is so cute and super super healthy!! Very not Calgary-like...
3. Movies: Valentines Day movie next week Yay! I love my all-star cast-romantic-mini-stories movies, it really all started from Love Actually. and after i shower i will be watching I love you New York, I'm so redundant! Also saw The Cove, very powerful movie I recommend everyone to watch it, its pretty shocking and carries some very valuable messages.
4. I've been seeing all this crazy stuff i want to buy (aka this crazy skull striped shirt, apc leather bag, big patterned sweaters (but now i like to call them jumpers)), but theres no way i can spend the money right now...my theory is that there's always going to be a million things i'll want to buy. saaaadd and there is a too much...i saw that video on perez with lindsay lohan being a hoarder, I was a bit jealous but also relieved.

HAHA i'm an awesome stylist

I love this sweater, saw it on boxing day had no money...it was worth the wait since now its 50% off, i decided to style tray in it and take a really crappy photograph and do a half ass edit. :p So glad that the weekend is almost here, I am so due for massage on Saturday with the bff!

Anyways can't wait to wear this awesome slouchness on!

The ring obsession continues/phone pic diary

I've been wanting and admiring an agate slice jewellery forever, when i was in Banff a few weeks ago i was reminded of how awesome they would look on my finger and since i don't wear large bold chunky necklaces or earrings (ouch, not that i've seen any giant agate ones) i'm patiently waiting for this piece of art to make its way to my finger :D beautiful!

Also today at lunch i finally made it out for some fresh/foggy/really cold air, went to Giuseppes with some friends and had this awesome eggplant, zucchini, provolone, lettuce and tomato sandwich that was so rich you didn't care there was no meat. My only "beef" (LOL) with it was that the bread got so oily i had a plate full of broken pieces of soggy bread, the solution for this is to toast the fricken bun. I'm definitely a believer in toasted buns.

This is a snippit of my attempt to pimp up my work area in a ghetto way, I am basically at the moment infatuated with scripted type. Having these with me for the 8 hrs only makes things better, it inspires/reminds me to take time to sit down and personally explore type more by hand.

finally my two fucking favorite desserts, but recently I've discovered how nice it is to have Yogen Fruz fruit toppings rather than it mixed into the yogurt...sprinkle some yogurt chips on top and...its gone before i know it.

Can't get u out of my head

I've come across these images from the prada spring/summer lookbook so many times yet i'm not sick of them, particularly these. They are just so captivating to me, the designer in me can't help getting warm fuzzies from the awesome colors, oh and the clothes/styling can speak for themselves.
